Merry Christmas - Fresh Snow On The Way

For only the 15th time in the last 100 years we have snow predicted for Christmas eve.  We have about a foot on the ground already but there is something magical about snow on Christmas. It is something movies on the Hallmark Channel are made of.  It will be a joy to go outside tonight and just stand still; soak in the quiet, and enjoy the snow gently falling down and marvel at the wonders of nature.

May your Christmas be white and equally joyful.  Where ever you are I hope you can take time to enjoy the simple things in life.  We will enjoy the warmth of our wood stove, the quiet and silence outside, the snow gently falling and the happiness of being with each other and the company and love from our dogs.  While this can be a sad time for some who remember better times and loved ones  I hope that all can take time to enjoy the simple things in life and the wonder of what is around us.
